When PVC resin is processed into PVC products, many additives need to be added during the processing, such as heat stabilizers, lubricants, processing aids, impact modifiers, pigments and fillers.
Impact modifiers are mostly used in the processing of rigid PVC products to improve the impact resistance of the material. The main types of impact modifiers include chlorinated polyethylene (CPE), acrylic polymers (ACR), methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymers (MBS), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers (ABS), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA), etc.
